Professor Michelle Lowe (Southampton University)has been making an extensive longitudinal study of the entry of the UK retailer, Tesco, into the US market. This involved significant innovation along a number of dimensions including opening up new market positions, developing supply chains and rethinking the product/service offering. Her case study ‘Tesco Fresh and easy’ is also available on the Portal and in this video the story is developed further.
