Learning from failure

One of the challenges in innovation management is how to deal with failure.  Innovation is, by its nature, a risky business so it is inevitable that things will go wrong.  And as long as the same mistakes aren’t repeated failure can be seen as a valuable source of learning.  Allen Alexander (University of Exeter) and colleagues working on a project funded by the Peter Pribilla Foundation have been exploring this issue and they have just added the first of a series of case studies – ‘VeryPC’ – to the Portal.  Click here to read it.
